Service Opportunities

Alumni Service Corps (ASC): The ASC is a 10-month volunteer program for Prep alums who have recently graduated from college. Alums work in a variety of different jobs at the Prep and get involved in co-curricular activities, sports, clubs, retreats, and service projects. In return for this work, ASC members live in community together, receive housing, and a stipend for food and other expenses. 2023-24 will be the 30th year of the Prep’s ASC.

Ignatian Volunteer Corps : IVC Philadelphia/South Jersey recruits and supports committed, competent, and caring service corps members for community programs serving vulnerable populations throughout the region. Service corps members work two days a week at partner agencies offering direct service to children, families, and adults who are materially poor. Prep alumni 50 years or older are encouraged to consider this year-long commitment to service and spirituality.

Are you retired or finished raising your family?  Do you want to give back, enrich your spiritual life, and build community with other mature adults? Through the Ignatian Volunteer Corps you can make a difference in your community while living out the values of St. Ignatius of Loyola. As a member of the IVC, you’ll have the opportunity to serve those in need one or two days a week, while also participating in spiritual formation in a community of peers who share a commitment to service. Register now and learn how you can deepen your faith and make a difference in the world. Learn more at http://ivcusa.org/info.
